An accounts receivable specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of a company's outstanding customer invoices. They ensure accurate and timely collection of payments, monitor and reconcile customer accounts, and communicate with customers to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies. Additionally, they may prepare and send invoices, process credit memos or refunds, and generate reports on accounts receivable activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
